This is Summer, a giant love bug with a calm, gentle nature. He knows a few commands and has perfect house manners (no crate needed!). He’s 10 years old, neutered, and is up to date on all his vaccinations. Summer enjoys going for walks and although he can’t go long distances, he keeps up with his foster Mom on her 1/4 mile power-walk! He loves car rides, getting in & out all by himself. He also adores being with his people, following them wherever they go so he doesn’t miss any of the action. Summer will dance for his supper if he knows there is gravy or scraps in it. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs – a favorite game is tug-of-war. He might chase kitties if they run. He loves people of all shapes & sizes; since he’s a super-sized dude, a home with slightly older children might be best. Summer also needs a family who will continue his exercise and weight-loss progress. He is being fostered in Decatur, IN.
