Opie is a handsome, spunky, 3-year old neutered yellow Labrador. He has LOTS of fun energy and is very strong…he loves being with people and will sometimes jump up to get their attention. He can also leap to catch a frisbee in mid-air, and is learning to give up a tennis ball so it can be thrown again. Opie is quickly mastering leash skills and good house manners, and needs a dedicated adopter who will continue his obedience training. Opie weighs 60 lbs. and is up-to-date on all his vaccines. He is Lyme positive, but not to worry – it’s not contagious and is being successfully treated with an oral antibiotic. Opie enjoys being with other dogs and is currently living with 3 cats. He just wants to play with any 4-legged friend! Big kids would be fine but Opie may be too exuberant for little ones. He is currently fostered in Muncie, IN.
