Meet handsome Moose, a lovable 3-year old neutered chocolate Lab. CILRA rescued him from a shelter where he was placed after being found as a stray. Moose is your typical happy Lab, with a sweet, friendly disposition. He is a young, energetic guy and would be best in a home with children 10 yrs. or older who won’t be easily knocked down – he doesn’t know he weighs 112 lbs., and is very strong! Moose needs patience and obedience training to learn how to live in a home, learn good doggie manners, and improve his leash-walking skills (he Loves going for walks). He gets along well with other dogs but not cats – he’s a bit too friendly! Moose rides well in a car and seems to be fine in a kennel run (at the Vet’s office) but not confined in a crate. With love, patience, and time he will make an amazing addition to a lucky family!
