Joann is a beautiful, 2 year old black Lab who weighs 80 pounds. She has been spayed and had all her vaccinations. She is a very sweet young dog. She was found hiding underneath a mobile home. It takes her awhile to warm up to new people, but she is quick to warm up to other dogs. She made friends very quickly with the 8 year old male Lab in her foster’s home, and has been opening up and getting more relaxed each day she’s been there. Joann will blossom in the right environment: with a young active family willing to continue her obedience training, slightly older children and/or another dog that can help build her confidence. She has shown no interest in cats. Joann is housebroken and crate-trained (although the crate isn’t her favorite spot; she would much rather be laying at your feet). Her favorite toys are 2 different sized fleece balls. She is learning to chew on bones/chew toys just like her foster brother does. She loves to go for car rides and is very well-behaved in the car.
