Zoey is a beautiful 6 ½ year old chocolate Lab who is now retired from breeding. She weighs about 60 lbs., and could stand to gain a bit more. She knows a few commands like Sit and Down, is housetrained, and does not jump up on people. Zoey can be a bit timid when first meeting people but warms up quickly. She is very treat-motivated and takes them gently. She has a dominant personality, and is best around submissive dogs. Zoey loves to run, so a fenced yard would help with her exercise. She’d also benefit from being part of an active family. She enjoys squeaky toys and tennis balls, and playing chase in the yard. She is also enjoying the pool at her foster family’s home. Zoey has lovely house manners and does not need to be crated. She needs a bit of encouragement getting into a car, but then rides well. She’ll be a wonderful addition to the right family!
