I’m Zen, a playful one year old male Labrador Retriever. I’m quick to learn, and love my two Lab companions and my foster home human friends. I’m a lucky dog, because I made it up on a rescue transport right before the big freeze. I had been living by a hardware store as a stray. There wasn’t much for a sweet dog like me to eat; I need to gain nine pounds to be at the optimum weight. But, the vet says I’m healthy. I love walks and won’t pull your arm. I’m quiet in my crate at night, but would prefer to cuddle up with my human friends on their beds or couches. We don’t know about cats. I like to jump up, especially to greet people and check out counters. So I will need some basic training in order to get the best doggie award, but I have a good start! I’m fostered near Chicago, southwest suburbs.
