Meet Walter! He’s a 12 year old big guy who enjoys laying in the sun, hanging out with his people, and going for short walks. He LOVES to retrieve his ball and wears himself out chasing it! He does have some arthritis which makes it hard for him to get up & down and to do steps, so he needs a home with minimal stairs to climb. Walter is good with the submissive female and male dogs in his foster home, although he does like to boss them around with his big bark. Walter seems to be hard of hearing but does seem to hear some noises. He has learned a couple of hand signals. Walter is really a grand old fellow who loves his people and needs a loving family to live out his remaining time with. Due to his age, CILRA will waive Walter’s adoption fee when he finds his perfect Forever Family. He’s being fostered in Martinsville, IN.
