This is sweet Shadow, a handsome yellow Lab mix who is 5-6 years old. He’s a big, strong boy, weighing about 87 lbs. He’s been neutered and is current on his vaccinations. Shadow is a love bug/sponge/hog, who wants to be wherever his people are. He likes to climb onto his Foster Mom’s lap so he can rest his head on her chest. He still needs to learn some basic obedience, like respecting FoMo’s personal space, not jumping up, and not pulling on his leash. Shadow has perfect house manners when she’s gone, no need for crating. We understand he did well with the slightly older kids at his original home. He gets along great with the other dogs and cats at his foster home, and needs slow introductions to new dogs. He also loves water & car rides. Shadow is an energetic, curious boy & will jump fences and run out doors if he wants to investigate something , so he needs a 6-foot traditional (not invisible) fenced yard. Shock or vibration collars are also not appropriate for this sensitive boy. Shadow is being fostered in Montgomery, IL.
