Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? I am here, in central Illinois! I am working on my newest mystery…..finding a family to love me for who I am! I am an active 50 lb., 4-month old black Lab puppy who is looking for a family that will play fetch, soccer, and take me for walks, while giving me defined boundaries. I am up to date on my vaccines, but will need to be neutered once I am a bit older (CILRA will cover this cost). I am still a puppy, so I have my baby teeth, and need access to bones and chew toys. I am a very quick learner. I learned to “lay down” in 10 minutes. I also know “sit,” “shake,” “come,” and “get the ball.” I am still working on the word “No”. Foster Mom says that I am getting better with that every day. I will require additional training by my forever family so I can continue to learn my manners and be the best boy. Due to my high energy level, I would do best in a home with older kids. I get along with other dogs, but cats are unknown. I love playing in water, so I would be perfect for you if you are looking for a water buddy. I am housetrained, and I know how to ring the bells on the door, so you know I need to go out. I like to hang out in my crate. Foster Mom leaves the door open for me, so I can go in there anytime I want. Guess what?? (I saved the best for last) I can carry two tennis balls in my mouth at once!
