[This information was supplied by Mia’s rescuer and current foster Mom]
Mia is a large female Black Lab mix, weighing 80 lbs. (and still needs to gain a few pounds). She was abandoned and starving when I found her last November. She is about 2 ½ yrs. old, spayed, housebroken, crate trained, intelligent and willing to learn, gets along well with other dogs and quickly learning to live with cats. She’s very playful but respectful of my senior dog and my other crippled dog. She’s still young and while she loves everybody, she’s a lot of dog so small children may be intimidated by her. She’s had extensive bloodwork, was thoroughly examined, dewormed, tested for heartworms (negative) and had a fecal test (negative) She has a current rabies shot, a parvo vaccination and is on heartworm preventative. Mia is a great dog! She is very adoptable and will make someone a wonderful companion. If you have any questions, please contact me: Janis Malcolm, (615)785-7506, firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Louisville, KY, and can help with transport.
