Mandi is a pretty, 6 year old black Lab. She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. She is house broken, crate trained and walks well on a leash using a gentle leader. She takes treats very gently! She gets along well with her foster family’s 3 male dogs (2 large Labs and a miniature Pinscher). She has been introduced to a few of the neighborhood children and got along well with them. Mandi is a very gentle dog but doesn’t realize she is a large dog (hey, it happens!). She currently weighs 98 pounds and needs to lose at least 10-15 pounds. She would do best in a home with older children. Mandi loves to chew, and always drags out all the bones from the toy box each day. She is playful, and her energy level will improve as she loses weight. She needs a home where she can get established and continue on her path to being a good doggy citizen. Mandi needs to stay on a strict diet and be active in order to lose pounds and maintain a healthy weight. She would benefit from some basic training. She will sit, but could use work on other basic commands. Mandi is loving and eager to please! With the right training and love, she will really blossom! She is being fostered in Fishers, Indiana.
