Luke is a large five year old yellow Labrador who was surrendered due to a work and home change. While in foster care, Luke has been great to work with. He is a very calm dog, who has been great with his entire foster family. Their seven year old daughter has been working with him on sit, stay, and down. He has been doing great in those areas. He is also very good around their six year old son. He shows no interest in their cat whatsoever. He just walked right by him and moved along when introduced. He is also house trained and does not need to be crated at night. Luke is very loving and loyal. He plays outside with his foster’s other Lab and they get along great. His areas of improvement would include leash training on walks and walking on hardwood floors. He’s improving on leash-walking but will need additional guidance. He prefers carpet and is slowly adjusting to stairs and hardwood floors. Luke has very good manners and would be a great family pet for those looking for a larger Lab. He is a lover and will adjust quickly to his forever home. He’s being fostered in Indianapolis, IN.
