This Lab is currently in a foster home, which is CILRA’s standard practice and allows us to learn more about the Lab before they are officially ready for adoption. It gives us time to evaluate the Lab’s personality, bring them up-to-date on vaccinations, and have them spayed/neutered if needed. Hannah is a wonderful 2-year old yellow Lab mix who was surrendered to CILRA because her owner worked full-time and thought she deserved a better life. She’s proven to be very sweet and loving, but is also an escape-artist (easily scaling fences & gates). She is being fostered in Westfield, IN.

Adopting a Lab can be a wonderful experience. Your new dog will need lots of love, adequate exercise and attention. Keep in mind that dog ownership may include additional costs for training, grooming, and health care beyond annual vaccines and monthly preventatives. It’s a lifetime commitment!
