Meet handsome yellow Lab, Hank! He wants you to know that November is his birthday month and he’ll be turning 1 year old. Hank has one more booster shot on his birthday, then will be available after 11/12 to find his forever home.

Hank is very much still a puppy with lots of energy and enthusiasm for life. He loves to play with his doggie foster brother or on his own when he has worn his brother out. Tug is a favorite game, along with fetch. He doesn’t quite have the drop technique down but loves to jump like a gazelle after the ball. He also likes to chew, and the nylabone is his fave. Hank seems to ignore the birds and squirrels, and cocks his head to one side trying to figure out why his foster brother runs after them. He hasn’t been introduced to cats, but doesn’t seem to have a high prey drive. Hank is a very intelligent boy who is learning house manners and picking them up quickly. He currently uses the doggie door in the foster home as needed, but when it is shut and he needs to go out, he barks to alert. When he’s over-excited, he can get a bit mouthy (very gently) and jumpy, but is learning that four on the floor gets him all the attention he craves. Hank does pull on the leash, and needs continued training to master that. Hank is also a true love bug, and loves to snuggle. He’s also a couch potato, snoozing alone or with his people.
