Here’s Elvis! He’s a sweet, loving black Lab mix who weighs about 60 lbs. and is 2-3 years old. He was found as a stray, running loose in a neighborhood with a chain and padlock around his neck. His foster says he enjoys people of all ages and loves kids. Because of his energy, he needs a family with children who are a bit older. Elvis has a very laid-back vibe when he’s just chilling in the house, he loves to rest his head in your lap, close his eyes, and be petted. He’s just now learning how great life can be with patient, loving people where he is safe from harm. Elvis needs basic obedience training but does well on leash until he sees another dog, and can then be reactive. Therefore his ideal home would have no other pets. Elvis is house-trained, and has wonderful house manners – no need for crating! He also rides like a champ in the car. Elvis will need a fenced yard, and a family with some previous dog experience and where someone is home much of the time. This sweet boy will be a great addition to the right family. He’s being fostered in Indianapolis, IN.
