My name is Cooper B. and I am a 7 year old, 75 lb. male black Lab. I have been with my owner since I was a puppy, but he had to move in with a sick relative to help take care of her and dogs were not allowed there. He called CILRA to make sure that I found a wonderful new home. My foster Mom says that I am the perfect Lab. I am housetrained, don’t need to be crated, and I get along with other dogs, cats and young children. I am gentle, love to chase balls, go for long walks, and am content to sleep at your feet. If you are looking for a great companion or family dog, I’m your man! I did have fleas last year and they itched so bad that I kept chewing by my tail to try to scratch it! I am told it is a typical flea allergy. I lost some hair but I haven’t had fleas for a long time now and take special baths to soothe my skin and help the hair grow back. My foster Mom says it is like a spa treatment. All I know is that I don’t itch anymore and my dry skin is starting to look more youthful (is that what she meant by a spa treatment)? I am being fostered in Westfield, Indiana.
