FOSTER HOME OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED!
Cooper is a beautiful, 2 year old, 75-pound chocolate Lab mix with a really special personality! He loves people, bonds quickly, and is eager to please. After a few weeks to settle in with his new owners, Cooper will welcome new human friends and family members — including children. He responds well to training and learns quickly. Cooper needs just the right experienced adopter and environment for him to thrive. No matter what you’re planning, Cooper is up for it! Going for long or frequent drives? Cooper is a great passenger and loves car rides (even short ones!). Want to go for a hike? Cooper loves the great outdoors and going for walks, and will be a great hiking companion. Feel like watching a movie or just sitting quietly? Look no further for a faithful companion to sit beside you. He loves cuddling with you on the sofa and, if you let him, the bed. Cooper is housebroken and crate trained. His ideal home will have a traditional fence (preferably a privacy fence); with an adopter willing to give him plenty of time and patience to adjust and continue with his training. Cooper prefers to be the only dog in the house. He reacts strongly to other dogs when he sees them outside or on the other side of the fence. Cooper does not seem to mind cats and has lived with them in the past. If you’re willing to spend the time working with him, being patient, and reinforcing all the good things he’s already learned, Cooper will be an awesome, loyal, loving addition to your family. He is currently living in Lafayette, IN.
