Buddy is a yellow Lab who is estimated to be about 6 years old. He was rescued along with his friend, Junior. Buddy weighs approximately 70-80#. Not much is known about his past, except that his owner had kept him in a garage for 2 weeks before being rescued. Buddy is very sweet and loves to be with family. He has done well with learning house manners, but does need to be confined if left alone. He should be in a home without cats, does great with other dogs, people and kids. Buddy should also be in a home with older children, as he does get excited and jumps up on people. If he and his pal Junior can’t be adopted together, Buddy would love to be in a home with another dog. He is currently receiving heartworm treatment and should be ready for adoption in mid-March. Fortunately CILRA is able to fund his heartworm treatment and he’s expected to make a full recovery. Buddy is being fostered on the south side of Indianapolis, IN.
