Barnaby is a gorgeous 19-month old chocolate Lab who loves to be with his people. He’s looking for a relatively quiet home without children, where someone is home much of the time, and has some dog experience. His forever family should be willing to invest in the training, exercise, and socialization that will help Barnaby become his Very Best Self! Formal obedience classes would also be good for him. Barnaby is house-trained, neutered, current on all vaccinations, and rides well in a car. He does great on a leash, and even likes to carry it himself! He ignored the cat at a previous foster home. Barnaby does well with other dogs in daycare situations, but in a home environment he prefers to be the only dog who gets attention. This boy needs a lot of exercise, so a fenced yard would be a big plus. Barnaby is currently being boarded in the Indianapolis area, and he’s a staff favorite. Maybe he’d be your favorite, too??
