Albert is a handsome 6-year old black Lab who weighs about 100 lbs. He was rescued after his young owner died suddenly. Despite this jarring experience, Albert has proven to be a wonderful guy! He’s friendly, well-mannered, and just wants to be loved. He’s been neutered and is current on all his vaccinations. He’s good with children and other dogs, and was taken to a dog park regularly. We don’t know how he is with cats. He has had some obedience training and is a fast learner; he could use a bit more training to not pull on leash. He loves to retrieve and go for car rides. He’d probably enjoy having a fenced yard where he has space to play; he’s used to taking lots of walks but lived in an apartment and never had a yard of his own. Albert has lovely house manners, and can be left alone safely for long periods (no crate needed). He’s being fostered in Avon, IN.

Adopting a Lab can be a wonderful experience. Your new dog will need lots of love, adequate exercise and attention. Keep in mind that dog ownership may include additional costs for training, grooming, and health care beyond annual vaccines and monthly preventatives. It’s a lifetime commitment!
