I’m Sam, a very playful 2 year old male Labrador. My life has changed so much for the better; previously I lived outside in a chain-link kennel. Now I am enjoying being inside my foster home with my 2 foster family Lab buddies and we get along great. Oh yes I am house trained. These guys taught me how to play ball and now I am hooked! I love to retrieve and I even drop the ball for my foster Mom so she plays with me even more! My foster family let me go along with them to their lake house up north and I really enjoyed the long car ride. I got to sleep the entire way and I was so relaxed. I like the water but my foster Mom said the water was too cold to try swimming but I think I will like it a lot. I could use some training not to jump up enthusiastically but other than that I am a super great guy. No crate needed for me in the house but I will go and hang out in the crate for a nap. I do love walks, so I will get you out walking, too! I’m looking for someone who will give me forever friendship and care. I am fostered in the near south suburbs of Chicago.
