Annalee is a 3-4-year-old female black Lab mix. She is on the smaller side, weighing just over 50 pounds. She’s a very loving dog who likes to have a lot of attention and cuddles from her foster family. She likes to play fetch with balls and other toys. Her foster family has bells on the door and Annalee will nudge them to ask to go out. Clever girl! She is crate-trained: she loves sleeping in her crate and never complains, in fact she goes in on her own! She knows some simple commands, like “sit,” “down” and “stay”, and enjoys working on them to get treats. Annalee likes to go for walks, but does pull a bit on the leash. She’s not the biggest fan of car rides, but will get in the car on her own, especially if given a treat. She is well-behaved around children and doesn’t jump up or bark at them. She’s a bit slow to warm up to men, and will benefit from being with a family who can help her become more well socialized. She’ll do best as an only dog, and in a home without cats. She would probably also benefit from being in a more quiet home environment. Annalee is looking for a loving family who sees she’s just a diamond in the rough! She’s being fostered in Muncie, IN.
